How do I know I can trust Love City with my money?
We hold ourselves to the highest levels of financial accountability. No pastor, staff member, or leader is able to spend church money without proper accountability and approval. A board of overseers assembles an annual budget based on the vision and direction of Love City. All expenditures are reviewed by the board in accordance with the budget and are held to the highest standard of accountability and transparency. Our annual budget report details where all money goes so you can give with confidence.
What is Love City doing to impact the community?
At Love City we have decided to flip the traditional model of church. Rather than attempting to start and maintain new ministries, we have concentrated our efforts on strategic community outreach partners already serving in our city and around the world. Some of our cGroups are directly involved in impacting the community through partnership with various local ministries and initiatives. Love City uses 10% of every dollar for community and global outreach partners and projects.
Can I give offline?
Of course. We offer you the opportunity to give during every worship experience, because giving is itself an act of worship. If you're not able to make it to our worship experiences but you'd still like to give offline, you can send your contribution by mail. See the Contact Us page for details.
How much should I give?
2 Corinthians 9:7 says, "You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." Although scripture establishes the 10% tithe as a benchmark for giving, we really encourage you to pray and ask God how much He would have you to give, then obediently give whatever amount He lays on your heart. We fully believe God will bless you as you give to His work.
